Day 01 :

Nairobi – Amboseli National Park – Afternoon Game Drive

Your safari begins with an early morning pickup from your Nairobi hotel, residence or airport.

Drive from Nairobi towards Amboseli National Park. The road journey is approximately 4–5 hours, depending on the route, traffic and road conditions. KWS lists access through the Meshanani, Iremito and Kimana gates.

Arrive in the Amboseli area and proceed into the park, beginning your first game drive.

Enjoy your first views of the open Amboseli plains and, weather permitting, the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro.

Continue towards your lodge or camp, with opportunities to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes and other wildlife along the way.

Arrive for lunch and check-in.

In the afternoon, head out for an extended game drive. Explore the park's plains and wetland areas while searching for wildlife.

Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 02 :

Full-Day Amboseli National Park Safari

Wake up early for breakfast before heading out for a morning game drive.

Early morning is an excellent time for wildlife viewing and photography. If weather conditions are clear, this is also a good opportunity to photograph Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build around the mountain.

Explore the park's open plains, marshes and wildlife areas. Look for elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and other wildlife.

Visit Observation Hill, where permitted, for panoramic views over the Amboseli landscape and surrounding ecosystem. KWS lists Observation Hill as one of the park's key attractions.

Return to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation.

In the afternoon, continue with another game drive. Alternatively, a Maasai cultural visit can be arranged as an optional activity, depending on your interests and itinerary.

Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 03 :

Amboseli – Morning Game Drive – Nairobi

Wake up early for your final morning game drive in Amboseli National Park.

Continue towards the park exit before leaving Amboseli.

Drive back to Nairobi with lunch en route or at an agreed stop.

Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon or early evening and transfer to your hotel, residence or airport.
