Home to a variety of wildlife, the Masai Mara is the one reserve where you can see all the “Big Five” mammals in a single morning. The Masai Mara stretches out over a flat grassy plain and is most famous for its annual migration of millions of wildebeest.
Photographic opportunities are endless. Many species of wildlife are comfortable with the game viewing vehicles and come up close for the perfect picture.
A visit to a hospitable Masai village gives your Masai Mara safari a cultural edge. The Masai live a traditional way of life in a “Manyatta”, living in simple mud-covered straw huts. With over 500 species of bird life and open scenery, the Masai Mara should form part of your Kenyan safari.
We will pick you up from your hotel/Airport and drive southwards then drive along the floor of the Great Rift Valley with stop over at the viewpoint arriving in time for lunch.
Later, we proceed for an evening game drive in the Mara, which is well known for its rich, tree studded grassland and rolling hills. The famous Mara is also renowned for its great herds of plain games including black-manned lions, leopard, and cheetahs. It is also home to numerous elephants and virtually every type of wildlife to be found in Kenya.
